[www.inewsguyana.com] – Another person has now died following the horrific accident at Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara early yesterday morning (Friday, October 31), bringing the total number of deaths to two.
According to the Police, 25 – year – old Elias Ross of Zeskendren, Mahaicony, succumbed during the early hours of today Saturday November 01, while receiving medical treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Ross was an occupant of the car that slammed into the truck yesterday morning. The driver of the car, Turrick Mc Lennon, 23, died on the spot. His body was pinned in the vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters.
Police had noted that the young man was driving at a fast rate, when he lost control and slammed into the motor lorry. Those injured include Hollin Roberts, 22 years, of Farm, Mahaicony, who has been admitted to the Mahaicony Hospital, whoile Calvin Mc Lennon, 21 years, of Farm, was treated and sent away.
