Two men appeared before Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan charged for assaulting each other.
Forty – three – year old Leroy Malcolm and 24 – year – old Gary Beckles, both of Sussex and Lombard Street Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the assault charge.
According to the allegations, on August 7, Gary Beckles, who is the ‘children father’ of Sharona Nobles returned from Jamaica and caught the woman and Leroy Malcolm naked in bed.
According to the prosecutor, Beckles became annoyed and dealt the woman several slaps to her face after which he dealt Malcolm several lashes about his body with a baseball bat.
According to the Prosecutor, a scuffle ensued and both men were injured in the process. However, the duo did not want to proceed with the matter which was later dismissed by the Magistrate. Leroy Malcom and Gary Beckles were bonded to keep the peace for 12 months.
