Gold Miner slapped with murder charge

 

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – four – year- old Desmond James, a Gold Miner of Hotoquai Creek, in the North West District was today remanded to prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman for the offence of murder.

James was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which alleged that on September 1 at 4 Miles Arakaka Backdam, in the North West District, he murdered Glendon Cox.

Police Prosecutor, Michael Grant did not disclose the Prosecution’s facts to the Court and the matter will call again on September 8 before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
