[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 33 – year – old Bagotville, East Bank Demerara man is now nursing a gunshot injury to his abdomen after being attacked by bandits today (Thursday, March 20).
Shane James was on the roadway at Providence, East Bank Demerara around 13:00hrs awaiting transportation when two men on a motorcycle, one of whom was armed with a firearm, confronted him.
The armed man shot James to his abdomen and took away a bag with $537, 000 and escaped. He has been admitted to the hospital. Investigations are in progress.
