[www.inewsguyana.com] – Seventy – Seven – year old Pensioner Edward Bradford was found hanging in his house at around 16:00 hours on Thursday, January 16 at Bounty Hall village on the Essequibo coast.
According to reports, the lifeless body of the man, who lived alone, was discovered by his neighbor hanging from a piece of rope from a rafter in his small wooden house.
As news of the discovery of the hanged man spread in the village, a large crowd gathered at the scene to get a glimpse. It is not clear why the pensioner decided to take his life. Police Officers arrived promptly on the scene and took the man’s body to the Suddie mortuary. Investigations are ongoing.
