[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are on the hunt for four men, who opened fire on 26 – year – old Malika Da Silva during the wee hours this morning.
According to police reports, at about 02:55H, Friday, May 16, Da Silva of David Street, Subryanville, was in a motor vehicle with other relatives outside a house at Garnett Street, Campbelville, when a motor car with four men drove up.
Two of the men, who were armed with firearms, exited the vehicle. As they were approaching, Da Silva attempted to drive away and the men opened fire hitting her to the chest.
Neighbouring residents came out and the suspects drove away. Da Silva was been admitted to Hospital for medical treatment. Investigations are in progress.
