[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Police have destroyed 15 acres of marijuana plants under cultivation at Hararuni, Upper Demerara River during a drug eradication operation on Friday, May 17.

According to the Police, the plants ranged between 1 foot and 7 feet in height. Fifty kilograms of dried marijuana and 29 nurseries with seedlings were also found and destroyed. No one was arrested.
