The car, following the accident. [iNews’ Photo]Several persons today (September 09th,) walked away with minor injuries when a route 31 minibus collided with a car at Huston Village, East Bank Demerara.
The driver of the car, who gave his name as Imran, could not stop thanking God to be alive.

[iNews’ Photo]He said he was heading to the Georgetown Public Hospital to see a friend when he attempted to change lanes and collided with the bus which was at the time transporting passengers to Georgetown. During the collision, one of the vehicles slammed into a truck parked in the compound of ‘Rent a Tent.’
While some persons are nursing injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital, no one is reported to have died. The driver of the minibus who was on the scene when iNews visited declined to comment. [Kurt Campbell]
