Police Sergeant Shivram Murugayya was today (Monday September 9) charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and unlicensed motor vehicle.
He appeared before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to both charges, and was placed on bail to return to court on January 14, 2014.
