Keishar’s Bond Clerk sentenced to 36 months in jail for stealing


DSC05030A Bond Clerk attached to Keishar’s was sentenced to 36 months in prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman for the offense of break and enter and larceny.

Twenty – one – year old Evanda Spencer pleaded guilty to the offence. The facts of the case stated that between July 31 and August 02 at Meadow Brook Gardens Georgetown; he broke and entered the dwelling place of Kendra Keazer and stole several articles totaling approximately $1.5M.

The Court heard that on August 02, four ranks from the rural constabulary were on patrol when they saw the defendant on a bike with two suitcases and three other young men on another bike with other articles.

The police challenged the men and the defendant was arrested while the other two made good their escape. According to the police prosecutor; the missing items were recovered and was identified as being the property of Kendra Keazer. Evanda Spencer apologized to the victim for committing such an offence.
