With the ushering in of the Christmas season, the children of the Joshua House Children’s Home were delighted to receive a large donation of toys, books and US$1500 in cash, courtesy of the British High Commission and Quantum Leap Security.
The donation was raised through charity cricket matches held between the Commission with representatives from the US Embassy, High Commission of India and United Nations Development Fund and the Quantum Leap Security.
However, Pizza Hut, Marriott Hotel, Palm Court, Roy Beepat, Ameena Gafoor, Ricki and Bibi Ramsaroop and Neeeve Kartick were some of the other donors that made the initiative a successful one.
