Businessman shot, robbed $2.5M by motorcycle bandits

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Auto dealer, Intiaz Arakhan was held at gun point and robbed of $2.5M by two men on a motor cycle on Friday, March 13.

A police media release stated that at about 10:15 hours, the 23 -year- old Eccles, East Bank Demerara man was at Water Street, Georgetown, when he was held up by a man armed with a firearm.

The perpetrator shot Arakhan to his right foot and took away his haversack that contained the cash. He has since been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
