[www.inewsguyana.com]The West Indies will return home empty handed from their New Zealand tour having lost the T20 series 2-0 following a 4 wicket margin on Wednesday, January 15.

The touring Caribbean unit posted what they thought was a defendable 159 for the loss of 5 wickets in a match which sealed their initial fate.

A half century from Vice Captain, Denesh Ramdin with 55 off 31 coupled with 40 from Andre Fletcher off 36 balls and accented by an early 29 from 19 off the bat of Lendl Simmons led the scoring.

Nonetheless, the West Indies were thwarted from adding their desired 10 more runs by the combined efforts of Adam Milne, who snared two wickets and Nathan Mc Cullum and Mitchell McCleanaghan, who added one each.

In the chase, a spitfire 23 from Jesse Ryder, a patient 39 from Ross Taylor and a mind boggling 51 not out from Luke Ronchi chased the score down comfortably for the loss of 6 wickets.

Andre Russel, Jason Holder and Sunil Narine bagged 2 wickets each in the process but failed to stop the efforts of a dominant black caps side at home.
