After extensive discussions and conflicts within the new coalition Government, President David Granger had taken a decision recently to make a few Cabinet changes; these included transferring Minister Simona Broomes to serve as the Minister within the Department of Natural Resources effectively removing her from her previous post as Minister within the Ministry of Social Protection.

Broomes was replaced within the Social Protection Ministry by Keith Scott who had been transferred from the Department of Housing which fell under the Ministry of Communities.
Also, Minister Kathy Hughes was given additional responsibilities in the Communications sector.
