[www.inewsguyana.com] – The East Bank Football Association (EBFA) in conjunction with the Ministry of Spot on Monday commenced a one week academy for young footballers at the Grove Playfield, East Bank Demerara.
Under the theme, “Success is no accident, it is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrificing and most of all love of what you are doing or learning to do,” the under 14 academy has attracted close to 100 youths from Agricola all the way to Kururu on the Linden Highway.
The programme which is being sponsored by the Ministry of Sport, will teach the youngsters the fundamentals of the game which will allow them to play better football for clubs in their communities.
