High Commissioner of the United Kingdom, H.E. Greg Quinn, on Monday, paid a farewell courtesy call to Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugh Todd.
High Commissioner Quinn expressed gratitude to the people of Guyana for extending such hospitality during his period of service. He also reiterated the United Kingdom’s commitment to cooperation with Guyana, the Department of Public Information (DPI) has reported.
Minister Todd lauded the cooperation between Guyana and the United Kingdom over the years and recognised the role the High Commissioner played in the process.
High Commissioner Quinn is one of the longest-serving diplomats and brings to a close a period of 5 years, 9 months of service in Guyana.
Minister Todd, on behalf of the Government of Guyana, presented the High Commissioner with a farewell token of appreciation.
