The woman was gunned down in front her 129 Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara home on January 12 in the presence of one of her three daughters.

Sources confirmed that the man is no stranger to the police; at one point he was the body guard of some questionable characters. Information reaching iNews revealed that he subsequently became a paid hit – man.

The dead woman’s family took a decision to have her cremated in the United States as they are too afraid of traveling to Guyana to bury her.

The couple has been married for some 28 years and the man was shot several times about the body while imbibing opposite his business – Ram’s Auto Spares – located at Fourth and Light Streets, Alberttown.
