[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ryan Lowe, a Security Guard of Chapel and Durban Street, Georgetown was today placed on $100,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on a robbery under arms charge.
Lowe pleaded not guilty to the offence, which alleged that on September 26 at Durban Street, Lodge, being armed with a bottle, he robbed Orin Durkett of $35,000 cash.
The unrepresented man told the Court that he was convicted in October 29, 2009 for a trafficking in narcotics offence.
Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not opposed bail and the matter was transferred before Magistrate Faith McGusty for November 7.
