[www.inewsguyana.com] – The National Club Championships better known as the Road to Mecca has been confirmed for the first week in February.
The tournament, which will be in its second year, was confirmed by Vice President of the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF), Michael Singh.
Only 16 clubs will be allowed to participate in the tournament and the GABF is urging all teams register as early as possible.
In addition, the GABF is currently finalising details for the organising of the tournament, which will also be used to shortlist the Guyana National Men’s Basketball Team for national duty in March 2015.
Further, the Dyna’s Ravens are the defending champions of the tournament and will hope to repeat as champions of the tournament.
