Ramdhani returns as Head of Badminton Association


[www.inewsguyana.com] – Gokarn Ramdhani has returned as head of the Guyana Badminton Association following its bi-annual general meeting on Wednesday, December 11 at the Queens College badminton courts.

The other executives elected to serve for the years 2014 to 2016 include Vice President Dr. Nicholas Waldron, Secretary Emelia Ramdhani and Assistant Secretary Ernesto Choo-A-Fat.

The treasurer is Darrell Carpenay while the Assistant Treasurer is Gillian Mangra.

Marlon Chung, Ryan Chang and Paul Braam (LLB) are the elected committee members.

The GBA through a release said it is pleased with the success for the year 2013 where the Guyanese players excelled at both local and international tournaments.

Some of these include the Suriname Junior International (April), Caribbean Games in Puerto Rico (September), South American Games in Peru (September) and the Suriname Senior International (November).
