According to reports reaching Inews, the teen, Dominic Bernard, traveled to Guyana from England last October but has not made made contact with friends or family since. Prior to leaving for Guyana, the teen stayed with his parents in England. His father told reporters he does not know of any reason that would indicate that his son was running away from home.

At a media conference this afternoon in Georgetown, the father said while the British and Guyanese law enforcement officials have been very helpful, he is also hoping that the Guyanese public could provide useful leads in locating his son. “I urge anyone who flew on the flight, sat with my son or spoke to him to contact me, If you have heard from him, seen him board a taxi or seen him in Georgetown, please contact me”, he tearfully said.

The father of the missing teen traveled to Guyana a few days ago after realizing his son never met the God brother that he had planned to stay with during his stay in Guyana. From all indications, the God brother was not even aware that the teen had travelled to Guyana and should have been staying with him.

Now that the older Bernard is scheduled to return to England he is making one final plea for the public’s assistance in locating his son.

The British teen’s arrival at Cheddi Jagan International Airport back in October was confirmed. His family only realized he was missing last month when he did not return to England as planned.

The missing Dominic Bernard is six feet tall and of medium built. He was wearing a blue jeans and white T- Shirt along with white Nike sneakers when he was last seen.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Dominic Bernard should contact the nearest Police Station or family members on 592 -695 – 9065.
