Pensioner found gagged, bound in Parika home

Police investigators are probing the murder of a 63-year-old man who was bound and gagged at his Parika, East Bank Essequibo home on Tuesday morning.

Police investigators told INews that Ramroop Rameshwar of Parika Sea Dam, was found around 6:30hrs Tuesday morning with his hands tied behind his back and with several injuries about his body.
So far police investigators have not come up with a motive for the murder.
Inews understands that the father of one has been separated from his wife many years ago. He has a son who stays in Essequibo. Prior to his death, Rameshwar was employed as a cleaner at the Parika Marketing Centre.
It is understood that neighbours made the gruesome discovery after they observed the front door of Rameshwar’s house open and went inside to check on him.
The man was found lying on the floor in front of the door with his hands and feet tied behind his back and his mouth gagged. He also had blood oozing from this mouth and nose.
Rameshwar’s body is currently at the Ezekiel Funeral Home awaiting a Post Mortem Examination (PME). Meanwhile, no arrest was made but the investigation is ongoing.

It is a sad case because the Indians who can afford it will migrate leaving the poor ones behind to be preyed upon! Any smell Harmon as the next Hammy Green and Granger as the Next Desmond Hoyte….hmmm!
