Vendors of the Mon Repos market on the East Coast of Demerara are currently in uproar over reports that the market will have to be relocated.
The vendors are all gathered at the location, bitterly complaining about the pending removal.
There was supposed to be a meeting today with the vendors and the market committee along with the council.
However, that appears to be unlikely, given the unruly behaviour of the vendors.
