[www.inewsguyana.com] – Morgan’s Learning Centre (MLC) held the third edition of their sports on Sunday, November 09 at the Carifesta Sports Complex ground where the championship is seemingly growing as Macaw House was announced as the winners.
Macaw House amassed 249 points for the win leaving Falcons in a distant second with 169 points. Raven house was third with 148 points while Toucan brought up the rear with 125 points.
According to the organizers, the teacher’s race saw Hubern Collins emerging as the victor followed Rodrick Gordon and Orin Morgan .
According to Gordon, who is in charge of the winning house, “the sport is growing every year and it was fun for the kids that don’t usually get to run at school sports.”
