[www.inewsguyana.com] – Jamaican Boxers have threatened a fine walloping of their Guyanese counterparts when the ‘Jamaican Invasion’ Boxing Card gets going this evening (Saturday, April 05).

At a press conference, Jamaican Boxer Rudolph Hedge promised to lay waste to his opponent World Boxing Council’s CABOFE flyweight champion Dexter Marques.

“If Dexter can’t manage the press very well then I’m going to take him out and I’m looking forward to take him out like in about the 6th round so if you can’t withstand the pressure that’s when I’m going to take you out,” said Hedge.

Meanwhile the defending champion Marques promised to send his Jamaican counterpart packing.

“Come Saturday night it’s like he said he has a lot of baggage I hope he has a lot of baggage to take part of his body I hope it be good no disrespect I know he’s a good fighter but he’s coming against a classy fighter, Rudolph Hedge is a good fighter like I said again I’m the best, best in flyweight.”

Another fight between Mark Austin and Devon Moncrieff in junior middle weight division is also expected while David Thomas will face Richard Williamson in super lightweight contest.

Quincy Gomes will square off against Toriano Nicholas in a Lightweight contest while the super middleweights in Romeo Norille and Kemahl Russell will go toe to toe.  Bell Time is 12:00.
