[www.inewsguyana.com] – People’s Progressive Party (PPP) Parliamentary representative for Region Two, Cornel Damon opened day three of the 2015 budget in a bashing manner as he went into full attack mode against the APNU+AFC administration.
Damon told the National Assembly that the document presented by Finance Minister, Winston Jordan was an “immature budget that failed to inject benefits for the various regions and sectors in Guyana.”
He said too that the budget was “sloppy and useless….I wonder which planet this Honorable Minister came from with this budget and I believe only Houdini could be able to expend it.”
According to the Parliamentarian, from the time that the APNU+AFC coalition was declared victorious at the May 11 polls, the people of Region Two have been “shouting foul.” He called on the new government to adequately address the issue of the rice sector.
“If rice is not addressed now by the government it spells doom for every sector of region three and region two,” said Damon.
He went on to speak about the crime situation currently affecting Guyana, stating that Vice President Khemraj Ramjattan is incapable of effectively tackling the issue.
“It is impossible for the Honorable member of National Security who represented some of the most dangerous criminals to have any control over the crime situation…Ramjattan must go,” he stated.
To put the icing on the cake, Damon made it clear that the PPP is in full support of Bharrat Jagdeo as Opposition Leader. He stated that the Party is “very confident (Jagdeo) will be the next president of Guyana.”

You represent the mindset of so many people in Guyana that is why Guyana did not progress, only Jagdoe and his cronies who lined their pockets mercilessly with the Nation’s wealth . What has Jagdoe’s qualification done for the country in the past years? Ans::Zero. What has Jagdoe qualifications done for him and his cronies? Ans: theft of billions of dollars from the nation’s treasury and deals and the disenfranchisement of the Guyanese people. He needs to get off the bandwagon.
The current administration’s qualifications are amazing and look what they have done to bring Guyana’s credibility and the progress they have made in the short time they were in office. They saved so many viable Guyana institutions and jobs for so many.

Jagdeo the next President…Joey where would he run his presidency from, a USA prison because that where he going after they extradite him for money laundering and drug corruption charges. They already seized both of his planes that he used to transport drug money and illegal drugs between the USA and Guyana.

Look, I will concede that he made an impact in addressing environmental issues, but as an economist he is pretty ordinary. Certainly not in the league with Clive Thomas and Carl Greenidge. Jagdeo’s greatest strengths are cussing down and confusing gullible and naive people. Believe it or leave it.

I am sure that the comment of Bharrat Jagdeo being the next president of Guyana is already making the current government nervous and sending shock waves throughout the APNU/AFC regime. Just the mere fact that they have to face him in parlament is annoying them. Face the facts – he is the most brillant politician in the Guyana alive today and could outdo any and everyone in the current regime hands down. A change is government is probably the best thing that has happened in Guyana right now. All the allegation of corruption and mismanagement have all been proven untrue so far. Tthe truth of the matter is that the PPP made the way of life for the people in Guyana so simple and stressfree that people did not know how to appreciate it. Now that they have a bunch of incompetent people in governement they can now look back and appreciate the PPP regime. Folks look out – Bharrat Jagdeo and the PPP regime will be back sooner than expected in full force.
