[www.inewsguyana.com] – Guyana’s NAGICO Super 50 team hopefuls resumed training yesterday for the tournament with fitness sessions at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall

Coach, Esan Crandon who spoke to this site said that cardio among other things was the order of the day during the morning sessions.

The coach said that his chares are being worked on physically through exercise.

The afternoon sessions are for actual playing skills the coach noted.

He says the first beep session was to identify players’ weak spots and the second is to work on those and assess who needs work in what areas.

Already, certain athletes need more work than others the former player now coach noted.

Meanwhile, the coach says that the team is getting well but it is time for them to hit the greens, something the weather isn’t permitting.

Matches will be played from January 30 through February 16 in Trinidad and Tobago where there will be day/night fixtures.
