GT&T gives $200,000 in sports equipment to youth groups

unnamed (8)[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company on Saturday donated $200,000 worth in cricket and football gears to various youth Community Policing Groups along the East Bank Corridor.

Among those that that received the equipment was Diamond youth CPG and the Yarrowkabra youth CPG.

Receiving the donations was Officer – in – Charge of Sub-Division #2 Deputy Superintendent Khali Pareshram at the Grove Police Station.

Pareshram thanked the company for the donations. He said that with the donations the youth of the community will now be better involved in various sporting action.

“I would like to thank GT&T for their support and I know they will continue to support us, now our youth will be able to fit and I will make sure I plan events for them,” Pareshram said,
