[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has taken steps to publish the Official List of Electors (OLE) and have it placed at polling stations across the Guyana.
The OLE will list all the persons that are eligible to cast their ballots when Guyana’s electorate heads to the polls on May 11.
GECOM officials have explained that the lists are available at polling stations and polling places across the country for the public to peruse and ensure that they are registered to vote on May 11.
While the Presidential Candidate of the APNU+AFC coalition David Granger had raised some concerns about the Revised List of electors, the coalition has is yet to say whether is has any concerns regarding the OLE.
Persons are being urged to check the list to ensure that they are registered to vote on May 11.[By Jomo Paul]
