Father, two sons caught with carcass of stolen cattle – granted $25,000 bail each

A father and his two sons were, today, charged with ‘larceny of cattle’ when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
David Edwards, 51 years; Peter Edwards, 30 years; and Cleveland Edwards, 21 years, were each placed on $25,000 bail, and are to make their next court appearance on March 02, at the Lethem Magistrate’s court where the case has been transferred.

The charge stated that between Monday January 18 and Tuesday January 19, 2016, the three men stole a cow valued $75,000, and belonging to Randolph Gilbert, in Region Nine (Upper Essequibo-Upper Takutu).
The father and his sons were arrested on Wednesday last when they were found in possession of the carcass of a stolen animal by Police ranks investigating a report of larceny of cattle at Annai, North Rupununi.
The Police said, acting on information received, ranks arrested David Edwards and his two sons “in whose possession was found the carcass of the stolen animal”.

They don’t need to start a political party,,they thief men lost the election on May 11th, after all they out of work now and they have to live the BIG criminal life,,,HIP HIP to the 3 Ps ,,i wonder what you will say when they start jailing them,,all criminals should be given Zero tolerance,including the white collar criminals,,

  2. I am right about the thievery in our country. You cannot grow anything…they steal it, you cannot raise any livestock, they steal it…you cannot hang your clothes out to dry, they steal it…the only thing we have to export is thief men.and the crime rate is down…you go to Georgetown,they pick you pocket…these thieves should have a political party…they are enough of them to win the election…
