[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 26- year – old mother of two who resided in Charity, Essequibo Coast was found dead early Tuesday morning (March 17) on the parapet of Forbes street.
When Quineza Patricia Benn’s lifeless body was discovered, it bore numerous marks of violence, with a cut to her mouth and injuries to the back of her neck.
iNews was also informed that Benn’s common – law husband was known to abuse her frequently. The man was taken into police custody following the discovery.
Police removed the body and took it to the Suddie funeral parlor. A Police media release identified the woman as 22 – year – old Tinesa Benn. According to the police, a Post mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the woman’s body to determine a cause of death.
