[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 49- year – old Contractor of Affiance Village, Essequibo Coast ended his life at around 5:00 hrs this morning (Tuesday, October 14).
According to reports, the father of five who worked as a Contractor with the Regional Administration at Anna Regina was found by one of his sons hanging by his neck in the bottom flat of their house.
It is believed that Chandardeo Persaud used a piece of wire and hung himself.
Reports are that the Contractor, who was experiencing problems in his marriage, was scheduled to appear in the Anna Regina Magistrates’ Court today, but he ended his life before dawn.
iNews understands that Persaud owed money to a number of persons and businesses.
Only last week another young man of Devonshire Castle committed suicide by drinking a quantity of poisonous substance used for spraying and killing weeds.
