[www.inewsguyana.com] – Defending Champions, Lodge Secondary fell to Dolphin Secondary School 1-2 in the semifinal encounter on Thursday, March 26 at the Ministry of Education ground.

Shemar Smith drew first blood for Lodge with a goal in the 13th minute as the first half played out with Lodge having the advantage.

However, Leon Richardson equalised in the 50th minute to put the game level at 1-1. Dolphin secured the win in the 76th minute from an easy goal from Joshua Perreira.

Meanwhile, Chase Academy made their way to the final as well with a 1-0 win over Morgan Learning Centre. Marlon Nedd was the game’s lone goal scorer in the 38th minute.

With a huge crowd present at the semifinal, Director of Petra, Troy Mendonca was pleased with the support of the tournament and expects a great final.

The final will be played on Tuesday at the Ministry of Education ground from 16:00h.
