[www.inewsguyana.com] – Day three of the Busta Soft Shoe Tournament produced some of the best action yet on Tuesday evening at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground.

Queen Street Tigerbay was involved in the game with the most goals by a 5-2 win over Stevedore Housing Scheme. Deon Alfred led the way for Queen Street with a hat-trick in the 21st, 22nd and 24th minutes.

The most thrilling game of the evening happened between Kitty Weavers and Leopold Street with Kitty scraping by with a 3-2 win.

It took a goal from Jermin Denard on the stroke of full time to win the game after both teams traded goals.

Ballers continue to roll with another win in the tournament, this time defeating Sophia 2-1 with Amos Ramsay adding to his goal tally with both goals in the 4th and 24th minutes. The lone scorer for Sophia was Dwayne Lowe in the 16th minute.

Meanwhile in other results Alexander Village picked up a 2-1 win over California Square, North Ruimveldt defeated West Back Road 4-2 and Sparta Boss held off Charlestown for a 3-2 win.

Games in the tournament will continue on Friday evening at the GFC ground.
