Wanted man shot by Police

Crime scene[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police conducting a roadblock at Friendship, East Bank of Demerara this evening [Monday, October 06] came under fire from a man who is wanted by the police for a series of armed robberies and murder.

The man whose name was given as Steven Mohamed called ‘Stevie’ was shot by ranks after he opened fire on them. iNews was reliably informed that the police were able to recover a .38 revolver, three live rounds and two spent shells from the scene of the shooting.

Crime scene investigators are en-route to the area and iNews will provide the full details of the story as they become available. The man has been rushed to a public health facility where he is being treated by doctors.

  1. the cries from GHRA-PNC-SN-KN about police brutality will be deafening..they might protest then march like the crabs they are…PNC will add this to their dossier and run om up to US and UN…The police didnt do a proper job..They should have finished the parasite off.
