Anjanie Boodnarine. [iNews’ Photo][www.inewsguyana.com] – Alleged drug dealers Barry Dataram, along with his reputed wife Anjanie Boodnarine, 19, of Lot 79 Patentia Housing Scheme, West Bank Demerara were slapped with another charge of possession of ammunition.
The duo pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that said on April 16 at Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara, they were busted with one hundred and eighty .223 live rounds of ammunition, when they are not the holder of firearm licenses.
Their defense Attorney told the court that he finds it strange for the police to only charge the two when others are involved in the same case. Bail was still refused for them until May 08.

It is alleged that the quartet on April 16, at Lot 661 Fourth Avenue, Block X Diamond, East Bank Demerara, they had in their possession 129.23 kilogrammes of cocaine, for the purpose of trafficking.
