This new 60 thousand squared foot distribution centre will service and provide more items for the various branches across the country.
Courts will be investing over US$5M with this state of the art distribution centre. The bond at Montrose on the East Coast has outlived its usefulness, thus these lands were acquired by the UNICOMER group in 2011 from the Government of Guyana to expand their business.
Executive Vice President and Vice President of the UNICOMER Group Guillermo Siman said that the company continues to invest, create job opportunities for the locals and build international trade and commerce.
The distribution centre is expected to be completed by August 2014 with 18 loading bases. Workers at Montrose will be located within 12 months time. [Nickhail Jaundoo]
