[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two news Editors from the National Communications Network (NCN) were sent packing on Thursday June 18, after an internal investigation revealed that they had misappropriated funds.

According to information reaching iNews, Edward Layne and Adelle Rampersaud were fired from the state owned company with immediate effect.

iNews understands that both Layne and Rampersaud were unable to fully account for some $80,000 that was supposed to be for the coverage of a People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) elections rally in Bartica earlier this year.

The investigation, according to reports, was ongoing for several weeks within NCN.

  1. Bobby why don’t you go and sit your ass down if you have nothing redeeming or sensible to say. So thieving and misappropriation of public funds is ok in your book?

  2. These are two small fries. Sad how it ended. Both are from good stock. I knew both of their dads.Well if the PPP had returned to power we would have learned none of this.

  3. Look at this banner Edward Layne in his dark glasses. I can tell who is his mentor, the one and only chat3 Nandlall, this big nose jackass who humiliated the female at Kaieteur news, what a disgrace. He is the second one should be jailed behind jagdeo, another big jackass.

  4. we need to send a message ,to those that thief, that you need to lock them up,and not just dismiss them
