[www.inewsguyan.com] – Police have arrested two men in Lethem in connection with the discovery of a shotgun and matching ammunition.
According a police release at approximately 19:45 hrs on Friday September 11, ranks of a police patrol at Parshara, Lethem, conducted a search on two men who were on a motor cycle.
Police say an unlicensed 20 gauge shotgun was subsequently found along with 2 live cartridges and 8 spent cartridges.
The men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
