Suspected bandits caught following high speed police chase

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two suspected bandits were this morning (December, 29) apprehended by police during a high speed chase, after they attempted to rob a resident of Sheriff Street, Georgetown.

iNews was reliably informed that the men were in a Toyota Raum when they attempted to rob the resident. The police were informed and immediately chased behind the men in the vehicle.

The suspected bandits lost control of the vehicle due to the condition of the road and ended up in a trench.

The suspects then came out of the car and fled into the yards of residents; however they were eventually captured by the police and taken into custody.
