[www.inewsguyana.com] – St Lucia will be represented at the Guyana Boxing Association’s Goodwill tournament next month. The country indicated their interest in the tournament yesterday, taking the number of teams expected up to three.
The six member Lucian unit includes Brian Mcdonald as Manager, Linden Micillen in the 64 kg class, Ron Bastian in the 69 kg division and Arthur Nangillur in the 75 kg battle.
The team will also comprise President David Christopher and Head Coach Conrad Fredericks. They will arrive on February 13 and depart on the 15th.
Meanwhile, a response from Trinidad and Tobago is expected shortly as it relates to their participation.Jamaica has already confirmed its participation.
The goodwill tournament which is compliments of the Guyana Olympic Association is set for February 12-14.
