Several persons were rushed to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital earlier today following an accident on the Number 19 public road, Corentyne, Berbice.
The accident occurred around 09:30hrs after a motor car driver lost control of his vehicle and swerved into the path of a canter truck which was heading in the opposite direction.
The police arrived on the scene shortly after and the injured persons were taken to receive medical attention.
Investigations are continuing.
