Seven fishermen feared drowned

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The families some seven fishermen are hoping to see them alive once again following conflicting reports that they might have drown.

The seven men have been missing for 17 days now having left for sea on December 12.

Speaking to iNews late Monday (December 30), Angela Vieira of Belle Vue, West Bank Demerara, who is the wife of Captain Nathan Bacchus aka ‘Joe’ said that the intention when the crew left was in fact to spend 14 days at sea.

Vieira, who is worried about her husband’s fate, says she is hopeful that he returns home safely.

Captain Bacchus and six crew members left the coast on December 12 and headed to the Atlantic Ocean to fish.
