Police in Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) are investigating reports of a double murder which occurred at Blackwater Backdam.
Ranks were informed of the incident today and they have since been deployed to the scene.
It is suspected that the two men, identified only as Niles and Richard, were killed in the execution of a robbery.
Commander Dion Moore, when contacted, confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
