[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 28 – year – old woman of Canal No.1, West Bank Demerara is now dead after she was murdered late Thursday afternoon (April 30), allegedly by her husband, identified as Allan Barker during a domestic dispute.
Donessa Joyce – Barker, a mother of one, was allegedly stabbed to death.
While details are not yet fully available, iNews was informed that the man is known to be abusive to his wife. Reports indicate that the two have been married for a year but have been experiencing difficulties.
iNews was also informed that Joyce – Barker was previously burnt with a pot of hot water by her husband but when the police were called in, she denied that the man was the one who poured the hot water on her.
