Sadeia Santora called ‘Old Dog’

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The badly decomposed and almost skeletal remains of Sadeia Santora called ‘Old Dog’ was recovered from the Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of Ruimzeight, West Coast Demerara on Sunday, February 08.

The man’s remains were found by persons who were attending a cremation ceremony at the Ruimzeight foreshore. The dead man’s sister Sharon explained that the family were however able to identify the remains by the trousers that he was wearing at the time.

On January 28, Santora reportedly fell off a fishing vessel in the vicinity of Melanie and Buxton, while his fellow workmates were in the cabin of the vessel.

The men had earlier that day left the Meadow Bank Wharf to head out to sea to ply their trade. The dead man is survived by his four children, siblings, mother and other relatives and friends.

Santora resided at 176 Fifth Street, Montrose East Coast Demerara.
