Collin Cummings was on Wednesday unanimously found guilty of raping an 8-year-old girl.
The act reportedly occurred Aug 20, 2016, in Demerara.
The accused maintained his innocence but his lawyer Clyde Forde requested a probation report before sentencing.
As such, sexual offences court judge Simone Morris Ramlall adjourned the matter to March, 7.
