[www.inewsguyana.com] – A taxi driver of Wismar, Linden was placed on $25,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry for the offense of assault.
Toan Fraser pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on Monday, November 25 at Pine Street, McKenzie Linden he unlawfully assaulted Troy Arthur.
The defendant complained, “Meh worship they assaulted me, my head was bust”.
Police Prosecutor Vernetta Pindar did not object to bail and the matter was transferred to Christianburg Magistrate court for January 8.
