[www.inewsguyana.com] – The armed forces of Guyana will begin their battle to deem who has the best sports men and women when the 2014 Inter Services Athletics Championships (ISAC) aka Joint Service Sports runs off on Tuesday, October 14 at the Guyana Defence Force Sports Club Ground, Camp Ayanganna.

Defending Champions – the Guyana Police Force (GPF) – will find themselves in foreign land at the GDF ground with the hope of defending their title.

While GDF might have home field advantage, the police men and women are the favourites to walk away with the title once again.

Also taking part in the event will be the Guyana Fire Service and the Guyana Prison Service, whic are expected to bring up the rear in that order.

GPF’s biggest threat will only be the military men and women. However, when the shots are fired and dust settles, the GPF should be the ones standing tall due to their long list of talented stars, none more renowned than Olympian, Winston George.
