[iNews’ Photo][www.inewsguyana.com] – Debutant Kristian Jeffrey survived a grueling day of racing to be named the individual champion of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC) group four category on Sunday, November 16 during the third leg of the championships at the South Dakota Circuit.
Jeffrey picked up two out of three wins to maintain his lead of the top pole position and the eventual championship. The Stag Beer sponsored driver had his luck missing a crash that ended the day of many of the top drivers in the group.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey’s final race was drama filled in the first three laps, trailing Bajan Stuart Maloney in an intense duel before, Maloney lost control on turn one which forced him off the track allowing Jeffrey to power away easily. Maloney won one of his races while Jeffrey was third.

Meanwhile, Kevin Jeffrey, who had to end his day early due to a crash, was proud of his son Kristian.
